Some progress made cleaning up the ballast and track (what a sh$tty job that is). Today I eventually fixed the back scene photo in place and painted the scenic board edges
My best efforts have been thwarted with regard to DIY decals as I appear to be incapable of matching the sides to the ends, perhaps time for a rethink.
So where am I with 112 days to go… Frankly stuck and thoroughly demotivated
As the title said does anybody read this if you do please say hello

Yeah of course we read it. Post some more photos! The ones of the pithead gear etc last year were interesting. Sounds like time to make a list of the vital jobs and then go after them one by one. So what if you don't finish them all?
Yes
Yes Nick; like you I have periods of de-motivation, I find it best to try modelling something else and come back to the problem later. Don't let the 112 days get to you we may all like to have our layouts finished in time for the GJLC but I bet we don't all achieve that.
My own layout, Marks Quay, has barely had anything done to it for four months now, due to mum in hospital and my own pending redundancy, but I am now starting to make more progress and hope to start posting again soon.
So keep going and if something goes wrong then put it aside and either sort it out later or bin it and start again.

Only just found it but will continue to read it.
Yes, and I have to say, it's looking pretty good!
